The agent of Ajax defender Toby Alderweireld has confirmed the interest of Everton.
Everton boss Roberto Martinez is keen to tempt the Belgian to Merseyside this month.
"It is true that Everton came forward for Alderweireld," revealed agent Soren Lerby. "Though there are other concrete avenues.
"Toby must now look at which team he finds the most challenging."
