Bologna are chasing want-away Blackburn Rovers striker Nikola Kalinic.
The Croatia international is ready to leave Ewood Park after falling off the first team map this season.
His agent, Tomislav Erceg, confirmed to TMW that talks with Bologna were held a year ago.
Asked if Kalinic would be keen on negotiations being revived, Erceg said: "The Rossoblu's Marco di Vaio is a footballer which one can learn a lot from by playing beside him and every player can always learn something more."
