The agent of Bayer Leverkusen midfielder Hakan Çalhanoglu has revealed the interest of Atletico Madrid.

The Turkey international is currently serving a FIFA ban to the end of this season over his original transfer from Trabzonspor.

Bektas Demirtas confirmed: "Now they comment that Hakan is on Chelsea's agenda.

"What I know well is that Atletico Madrid tried to sign him last summer, but Bayer Leverkusen did not want to sell him, that is why the operation was not carried out.
