Anzhi are serious about signing Real Madrid star Kaka.

Russian agent Shumi Babaev has confirmed Anzhi are laying the groundwork to bring Kaka to Russia in January.

"Anzhi has thought about Kaka for a long time, however, he is not the type of player that can be signed easily. Only we can speak accurately on the eve of the opening of the transfer market," said Babaev.
