Italian agent Giuseppe Riso admits AC Milan president Silvio Berlusconi was key to signing Barcelona striker Bojan Krkic.

Milan trumped Malaga for Bojan, who starred in last night's 1-1 Champions League draw between the two clubs.

Riso, who brokered the deal, recalled: "It was an operation that Malaga had closed, then the desire to play in Milan and Galliani's relationship with Barcelona came into play. Their president was decisive.

"Galliani in the night decided to close the operation, he has a fantastic relationship with Barca. Bojan, as everyone knows, is a player who has need for continuity.

"By finding continuity in my opinion he can only grow.

"He wants to stay? He is in love with Milan."
