Gabby Agbonlahor has credited Aston Villa strike-partner John Carew for his rich scoring form this season.
And he believes he is reaping the benefits of partnering Carew - a £5million signing from Lyon in January.
Agbonlahor said: "On his day, no one can cope with John with his physical presence.
"He's a good foil for me with his flicks. He's got experience which I can learn from."
Agbonlahor, 21, netted 10 times last term but said: "I'm confident I can beat that with the service I get."
Norwegian Carew, 28, has made a big impact since returning from a knee injury last month and has netted twice in three games.
Villa's four-game winning streak was ended by Arsenal on Saturday but Agbonlahor is convinced they can push for Europe.
He said: "Europe is on. If we'd played any other side than Arsenal we'd have won."
