Manchester City are eyeing a second raid on Liverpool for Philippe Coutinho.
The Mirror says City see Coutinho as the perfect long-term replacement for David Silva, who turns 30 in January.
It is understood that Coutinho is now among their top targets for the 2016 summer transfer window.
City landed former Anfield star Raheem Sterling last summer in a mammoth £49m deal and are now keen on swooping for another Merseyside ace.
The 23-year-old Brazil international is also reportedly a target of Barcelona and Real Madrid as well, with his agent allegedly holding talks with the La Liga giants.
