The relationship between Chelsea and Everton is hanging by a thread over the John Stones saga.

The Sunday Express says Chelsea are fuming after Everton upped their demands having previously agreed to sell for £34 million.

The Stones blow-up follows last season's row over Christian Atsu's loan.

The Ghana winger who has now joined Bournemouth on a similar deal only played five games for Everton during the whole season, a situation which annoyed Chelsea who only agreed to the move so that he could gain valuable Premier League experience.
