Afellay thrilled to make Barcelona playing return

Ibrahim Afellay was delighted to be back for Barcelona in their 7-0 thrashing of Rayo Vallecano.

It was Afellay's first appearance in over seven months after suffering a serious knee injury.

"I really like to play football. I've worked hard during the team's training session and I'm very pleased," he said. "You know the moment will come someday but you don't know when. I'm happy to return."

On Tito Vilanova replacing coach Pep Guardiola, Afellay added: "Guardiola is one of the best managers in the world but Tito is almost the same. They've worked together all these years. I believe everything will be the same."
