AFC Wimbledon seek fans help to house loan signings

AFC Wimbledon have made an appeal to fans to house their loan signings.

Neil Ardley's side have already brought Middlesbrough striker Charlie Wyke to the club on a one-month loan deal and are now calling on fans to open their homes for further acquisitions.

A statement on the club's official website read: "The club is looking to put together a register of people who can provide lodgings for players on loan at AFC Wimbledon.

"If you have a spare room in your family home and live a reasonable distance from AFC Wimbledon, based in Kingston upon Thames, then we would like to hear from you.

"The lodgings will be for players on loan from other clubs on a short-term basis and likely to be for a half-season or less.

"We do have an immediate need for people to come forward, but we wish to hear from anyone who wants to be on our register in the future."
