Charles N'Zogbia is the interest of Greek club AEK Athens according to reports.

The 29-year-old French winger is likely to leave Villa Park this month after playing just twice for the club this season.

N'Zogbia's only two appearances have come under Remi Garde but the French boss suggests the former Newcastle United and Wigan Athletic man could be on his way out very soon.

"I've got some phone calls for Charles, a Greek club in Athens, yes," said Garde.

"Charles is a player that could leave the club but this is his decision mainly."

When quizzed further on the certainty of N'Zogbia leaving, Garde added: "You can never say that.

"You never know in football but for the moment he's not playing for me."
