AEG president Tim Leiweke admits concerns over David Beckham's future with the LA Galaxy. Leiweke is president of AEG, Anchutz Entertainment Group, who owns Major League Soccer's Los Angeles Galaxy, as well as major venues and teams worldwide.
"I worry about David Beckham and is he going to Milan or not and I worry if can we get the Galaxy to a point where we can compete for the title next year," Leiweke acknowledged to the Guardian newspaper.
Leiweke was responsible for overseeing David Beckham's move to the LA Galaxy and MLS and behind the designated player rule that allows clubs to have larger salaried players on their books.
It is reported that Beckham has a get out clause in his contract, but with an estimated $50 million a year endorsement-heavy package on the line no decision will be taken lightly.
