Aduriz at the double as Valencia edge Houston Dynamo

Spanish outfit Valencia have beaten Houston Dynamo 2-1 in the 2012 BBVA Compass Dynamo Charities Cup.

Aritz Aduriz was the star of the show for Los She with a brace inside 20 minutes whilst Calen Carr scored a cracker for the Dynamo.

The opening goal came just after a minute into the contest when Pablo dispossessed Adam Moffat before playing in Aduriz who finished past Tyle Deric.

In the 14th minute, Houston levelled when Carr cut back in from the right wing to send a 22-yard left-footed effort in to the top corner, however, the Dynamo were only on level terms for a few minutes as Aduriz made it 2-1 after finishing Pablo Piatti's cross.

The win allowed Valencia, who beat Portland Timbers in a friendly last week, to take home the 2012 version of the Dynamo's pre-season cup which was won by Bolton Wanderers last year.
