Adu does the job for Caykur Rizespor again

Freddy Adu was amongst the goals again as he helped Caykur Rizespor to a 2-0 win over Akhisar in Turkey's second division on the weekend.

The match was Adu's fifth for the club he is on loan with from Portuguese giants Benfica and the goal his second as second-placed Caykur extended their unbeaten run to six matches and are now just one point off league leaders Samsunspor.

Adu netted in the 22nd minute, receiving a rebound he put away past the Samsun keeper for his second winner at the club.

The 21-year old former prodigy seems to have found himself a niche in Turkey after experiencing some plenty of difficulty finding consistency since he left the USA back in 2007.
