Adriano welcomes Mancini departure at Inter Milan

Adriano has welcomed the sacking of Inter Milan coach Roberto Mancini.

Currently in Brazil on-loan with Sao Paulo, Adriano beamed: "I cannot judge a person who is so far away.

"But for me, it is better now Mancini has left Inter."

He continued: "I would like to go back to Italy, but first I want to go on holiday with my family.

"Jose Mourinho wanted me when he was at Chelsea. It is reassuring to know that I will be playing under a Coach who trusts me.

"For two years, I had problems with Mancini. It was not beautiful for me. But, as I have always said, Inter is like a second home to me and I hope to do well there."
