Adriano has urged former Inter Milan teammate Mario Balotelli to settle down.

The Brazilian said: "Balotelli will be a great player if he puts his head in place."

The former Inter star added: "I rarely follow the reports that come from Italy… but with Thiago Motta and hopefully Felipe Melo, Inter can have a great season.

"On top of winning the Scudetto, Inter are also in a position to focus on the Champions League.

"Last season, we lacked a little experience. We played well in the game against the English, but then we were a little nervous in the second leg and Manchester United showed themselves to be superior.

"Of all the trainers I have had up until now, Jose Mourinho was the best. I learnt a lot from him and I have not forgotten that already in 2008 he was against my sale."
