Brazilian striker Adriano has been offered to Tottenham on a free transfer.
The 27-year old is currently in the middle of a one-year deal with Brazilian club Flamengo but it is believed he is keen on a return to Europe.
The former Inter Milan player's agents claim there is a clause in his contract allowing him to leave Flamengo for free in the January transfer market.
Spurs boss Harry Redknapp has been interested in Adriano in the past and the fact he is keen to part with current striker Roman Pavlyuchenko makes White Hart Lane an ideal landing pad, especially as Adriano is keen to get back into form prior to next year's World Cup.
