Adriano says he's joined AS Roma in order to win the Scudetto.
The Brazilian striker was due in Roma on Sunday, but family matters delayed him.
Speaking outside Rome's Fiumicino airport, Adriano said: "I am only a little tired from the journey, but I feel ready.
"I have also worked in Brazil to recover a bit of fitness and to lose weight.
"Now I have a lot of desire to train so I can give Roma a hand."
When asked to reveal whether he believes Roma can win the Scudetto, Adriano said: "In my opinion yes."
