Nigel Adkins wants Southampton to pay-out his contract.

The Sun says he is suing former club Southampton for the final three years of his contract.

Adkins has been on gardening leave since being fired by chairman Nicola Cortese in January.

Cortese wants to keep paying him his monthly salary - but Adkins is seeking a lump sum to enable him to take another job.
