Adidas have moved to deny any involvement in trying to get Lionel Messi out of Barcelona.

It's been reported adidas are working with Chelsea and Bayern Munich to match Messi's buyout clause.

But a spokesperson told L'Equipe: "The relationship between Adidas and one of its sponsored players is exclusively for advertising. Any sporting decisions rest with the player and his advisers."
