Adidas insist they're not involved in a plot to prise Lionel Messi away from Barcelona.
Flamboyant agent Francois Gallardo has revealed adidas and Bayern Munich came together in the summer to meet Messi's €250 million buyout clause - and have plans to try again in June.
There are two other adidas-backed clubs also in the mix to compete for Messi.
But a spokesperson for the sportswear giant told BILD: "Our core business is the treatment of athletes and not the transfer of football players or the funding of transfer fees."
