Adelaide United have unveiled Dutch coach Rini Coolen as the man to replace Aurelio Vidmar.

The 43-year old was today installed as the new Reds head coach on a two-year deal after he was released from a fresh contract he signed with Dutch outfit RBS Roosendaal.

Coolen has extensive managerial experience in Holland with jobs at FC Twente, Apeldoorn and Heracles Almelo (assistant) since 1996.

As a player, he had stints with Go Ahead Eagles, Heracles, De Graafschap and AZ Alkmaar.
