Adelaide United defender Iain Fyfe has signed with Korean outfit Busan I'Park.
The 28-year old centre-half will depart Hindmarsh Stadium in late January to link up with his new club after signing a $300,000 deal with the K-League club.
Fyfe will play his last game for the Reds on January 29 despite still having a year left to run on his contract and Adelaide coach Rini Coolen said the club was happy for him to get a chance overseas.
"There seems to be a shortage of central defenders in Asia and they have asked us for permission to talk to Fyfey. Robbie Cornthwaite was on a list as well," Coolen said.
"We don't want to stop Fyfey from going and we understand the situation."
It is believed that Coolen has already started looking for a replacement for Fyfe as the Reds chase this season's A-League title.
