Adelaide United striker Cristiano is being used as a bench player even though he has scored the second most goals at the club. The Brazilian has started the last two matches on the bench and is upset with the treatment.
"Yes I'm angry," Cristiano told Fox Sports.
"I'm not tired, I'm fit, I feel well.
"For sure, I haven't scored in the last few games but I'm ready.
"I've just got to keep working and wait for the chance.
"The coach prefers to put another player in my position.
"I'm disappointed for sure.
"In my eyes I played well and I've played a lot of games up front.
"I've tried to do what the coach asked of me. OK, I haven't scored in the Champions League but I've given a few assists to Travis (Dodd)."
Cristiano joined Adelaide at the start of the season and previously had been playing mainly in the Dutch Eredivisie with plenty of success.
"In Holland I was playing every week and sometimes twice a week," he added.
"Sometimes there's the Holland Cup and the Dutch championship in the middle of the week.
"It was a lot harder playing in the cold and then with heavy pitches in winter."
