Adelaide United to be boosted by Leckie return

Adelaide United will be buoyed by the return of young gun Mathew Leckie for tomorrow night's clash with North Queensland Fury. The 19-year old attacking weapon has been out of action since October 29 after damaging knee ligaments against Melbourne Victory but will be given some game time by Reds coach Rini Coolen at Hindmarsh Stadium.

"He's on the bench, he's good enough to come in," Coolen said of Leckie, who scored four goals in nine appearances earlier this season.

"He did a lot of physical sessions in the last weeks after his injury ... he doesn't feel any pain, he feels a lot of confidence."

And Coolen added that his fixture was important for his side in their quest to regain second spot on the table.

"We have to win our own games, still five games to go, so we win those five games and everything is in our own hands," he added.

"If you want to reach something, there is pressure every week and we have to handle that.

"And we must continue that way otherwise we lose the control of spot number two."
