Adelaide United have announced that assistant coach Phil Stubbins will no longer be involved with the club.
As part of their review of the 2010/11 season, Reds officials have decided that Stubbins will not be a part of the coaching panel.
Stubbins joined the club in May 2007 and was involved in the past four A-League seasons with the South Australian club, which included the 2008 and 2010 Asian Champions League campaigns and the 2008 FIFA Club World Cup.
Stubbins worked extremely closely with former Adelaide head coach Aurelio Vidmar but has been deemed surplus to requirements in moving forward. He will now take up a role with Football Federation Australia with Adelaide wishing him all the best for the future.
