Adelaide United aiming high in season 2009/10

Adelaide United are aiming high this season according to defender Scott Jamieson.

The left-back says the club is going into every match with the belief they can win and plan to kick start their pre-season with a victory over Perth Glory at Hindmarsh Stadium tomorrow night.

"We're going into every game wanting to win," he said.

"Whether we're playing a State League team or an A-League team, winning will bring us confidence and become a habit."

Jamieson said that the Reds pre-season training has been fairly tough but it was only to make sure the players are ready to achieve the clubs goals.

"We've had a very solid pre-season with full credit to the coaches and training staff," he added.

"The program has been rigorous and tough on a few of the guys, but we're confident they've prepared us well and we're just looking forward to facing Perth Glory again in round one (August 7).

"The club has high expectations and we want to meet them."
