Adelaide United goalkeeper Eugene Galekovic is still holding onto hopes of making the Australian World Cup squad.
The Reds shot-stopper has stiff competition for the second and third positions in Pim Verbeek's 23-man squad but says he will do everything in his power to get an opportunity.
"I'm not counting myself out - I'll do anything to go to the World Cup," Galekovic told Goal.com.
"I think it comes down to other goalkeepers and if [Adam] Federici and Brad Jones play consistently in the championship they're going to be ahead of me.
"If they're not then the door's open and I think an A-League 'keeper has a chance of making it.
"I've just got to keep doing what I'm doing last year and if those boys aren't playing, I'm a chance."
