Adelaide United have announced a new two-year partnership with the Northern Territory Government, reports www.sportspromedia.com/. The agreement will see the club playing pre-season matches for the first time in Alice Springs, one of the largest towns in the Northern Territory, as well as having a presence year-round in the region and holding a one-week training camp.
Tourism NT, the organisation responsible for the marketing and development of the Northern Territory as a tourist destination, will also be featured on the back of the players' shirts for the next two Hyundai A-League seasons.
Other elements of the deal include Adelaide United committing to community work in order to encourage sport in the region, and a game played against a NT representative side each year.
