Adelaide United have a battle on their hands if they want to retain promising left-back Scott Jamieson.

Although his agent Nikola Mandic said the 21-year old was focused on the Asian Champions League campaign with the Reds, it was admitted that Jamieson could be tempted by another foray overseas after his stint with Bolton a few season back.

"His focus is on the Asian Champions League," Mandic said.

"He's happy at Adelaide and there's not doubting he has the long-term ambition to play overseas but whether he does it this year or next year that decision will be made after Asia."

It has also been reported that incoming A-League club Melbourne Heart have offered Jamieson a contract.
