Adebayor urges Tottenham players to have belief ahead of FA Cup semi-final

Tottenham striker Emmanuel Adebayor has implored his teammates to believe they are good enough to win the FA Cup.

Spurs' trophy hopes were slightly dented when they lost to Norwich City at home in the Premier League on Monday but Adebayor, on loan from Manchester City, feels the playing group is good enough to bounce back by beating Chelsea in the semi-final at Wembley on Sunday on their way to glory.

"We've had some difficult moments but this is the chance to beat Chelsea and to be in the final of the FA Cup," he told the club's official website.

"We have to keep going, keep believing and tell ourselves, 'yes, we can win the FA Cup' and that we have a great chance in the semi-final against Chelsea.

"This is a big London derby and we have to do it for our fans.

"Wembley is a great stadium, it's a big occasion and I'm sure a lot of clubs would like to be there in our place. We have to grab our chance."
