Emmanuel Adebayor is urging Real Madrid teammate Pepe to reject a move to England.
Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester United are all chasing the Portugal defender, who is struggling to agree terms over a new deal with Real.
Asked about Pepe's situation, on-loan Manchester City striker Adebayor said: "He is one of the best defenders in the world and I respect him.
"He is in a difficult situation, but I think there will be a final agreement with Real Madrid and everyone will be happy."
