Emmanuel Adebayor is happy to take a backseat to Manchester City's man of the moment Carlos Tevez.
The former Manchester United forward has emerged as City's best player this season.
"Carlos is on top form, and one of the best strikers in this league. He is enjoying himself, so we are all delighted for him," Adebayor told the Manchester Evening News.
"He has so much energy, and I am also a player who loves running. It's great playing alongside him - I am tall, and even though I can't say I'm good with my head, I am not bad.
"He is a small guy, so when I jump, he goes behind, waiting for the second ball, so we are quite complementary.
"He is different to any striker I have ever played alongside - the way he never gives up is amazing. I have played with some very creative strikers, but Carlos is special.
"He is from Argentina, and players from that country are always hungry. Carlos fights for everything, week in, week out, on the pitch and on the training ground.
"He is always doing his job, and I am happy to have him alongside me."
