Adebayor happy to now be scoring for Tottenham rather than against them

Emmanuel Adebayor was always confident scoring on his Tottenham debut.

For years, he was the nemesis of Spurs with ten goals in 14 games for Arsenal. He left for Manchester City, fell out with Roberto Mancini and was shipped on loan to Real.

Predictably, he scored for Real in the Champions League quarter-final - against Tottenham once again.

"I just always felt I was going to score against them," he told the Sunday Mirror. "Now it is different. Even if I score an own goal, I will make it 1-1!"
