Emmanuel Adebayor is excited by the potential of his strike-partnership with Manchester City teammate Carlos Tevez.

Tevez has 20 goals in his last 19 league outings.

Adebayor told The Sun: "I always want more goals and am not content with 13.

"My dream is 20 as a minimum but this wasn't possible. Carlos is a big forward - sensational. With him alongside me I am in a good place.

"At City our objective is Europe, especially the Champions League, and if we do not obtain this it will be very painful. Tottenham are much improved in all the competitions and it's no surprise they are now.

"We have suffered injuries during the season and there was also our series of draws.

"That's why we aren't fourth and we still have to play Tottenham and Wigan at home, which won't be easy - Spurs are fighting for the Champions League and Wigan for survival.

"The season has been all about jumps and variations but in the last few weeks we are fighting for fourth position and that is positive. I think we can do it."
