Tottenham striker Emmanuel Adebayor feels they can thump Chelsea tonight.
Adebayor, on a season's loan from Manchester City, stopped short of saying Spurs were capable of winning the Premier League but he is optimistic about their chances of securing a place in next season's Champions League.
"I'm not saying we're going to win the League. At the moment, Tottenham's ambition is to finish in the top four. Keep playing as we are now, and we have a chance to do that comfortably.
"We're two points ahead of Chelsea with a game in hand, and we want to put them as far behind as possible. We have been on a good run - 11 wins in 13 League matches - so now we concentrate on Chelsea. They want to beat us to close the gap on City and United, so these are the kind of games you want to play in." "When you have good players, you think about winning titles and today we have great players, people like Gareth Bale, Luka Modric, Aaron Lennon and Scott Parker," Spurs' top scorer told the London Evening Standard. "Manchester United and Manchester City have great names, and Tottenham have great names.
