Adebayor: Arsenal now seeing my best

Emmanuel Adebayor believes Arsenal fans are now "seeing the best" of him - and says the table-topping Gunners are "ready for the title fight".

The Togo striker has helped fill the void left by Thierry Henry's departure to Barcelona with a number of impressive performances.

Adebayor has been a hero for Arsene Wenger's troops, netting six goals in the Premier League this term as Arsenal have confounded the critics by going unbeaten so far this season.

The former Monaco striker believes Arsenal and himself have benefited from Henry's departure - and are learning to fly high at the top of the table.

"People are seeing the best of me this season because I play more and I have more opportunities," Adebayor told skysports.com.

"My team-mates trust me more and also our game is not based on a world class striker (Henry).

"Don't get me wrong with the talent of Titi, it was a natural thing to go through him."
