Adams sticking with Portsmouth

Tony Adams has agreed to stay as Portsmouth assistant manager next season.

And Peter Storrie is delighted to have the ex-Arsenal man on board for another 12 months at the very least.

The Blues chief executive said: "Tony is staying for another season and has verbally agreed another contract.

"Harry wanted to keep him. He's an important part of his management team and that's what we have done.

"I don't think there was any doubt of Tony staying anyway, it's just that he has been having trouble with his back through the day-to-day travelling.

"It's great news and shows how strongly he feels that this club is going places."
