Portsmouth boss Tony Adams admits he wants to strengthen several areas of his squad.
He said: "There are areas of concern - that is obvious from the amount of centre-backs we are playing in midfield at the moment. That's an area that needs reinforcing.
"There are a lot of players out there I would love to have, too. The practicality, the finance and the availability I'm not so sure about.
"I'm not panicking, though. A lot of work has been done and there are players on the list.
"I've looked at over 100 players since December. I've got the ones I want. My work is done really.
"Now it's down to whether we can get the right deal for these guys."
