Adama Traore has revealed he chose Aston Villa over Bayern Munich this month.

Traore admits speaking with Bayern coach Pep Guardiola after deciding to leave Barcelona.

He told RAC-1: "There were details that made me decide on Aston Villa.

"Bayern is a great club but it is difficult to play there.

"I am grateful to Guardiola for showing interest and hopefully in the future I can learn from him."
