Adam Morgan anxious about Liverpool home debut

Liverpool teenage striker Adam Morgan has hopes of a senior Anfield debut this week.

With tonight's Europa League second leg clash with FC Gonel and Sunday's friendly with Bayer Leverkusen on the horizon, the young Scouser is hoping to get a chance to pull on the first-team jersey on the hallowed turf.

"Any time when you play at Anfield, it doesn't matter what game it is, it is special," Morgan told Liverpoolfc.com.

"To score for the first team at Anfield would be everything I have every dreamed of. It means everything to the young local lads to play for the first team. Gerrard and Carragher have done it, Jay Spearing got his chance and Flanno (Jon Flanagan) and Robbo (Jack Robinson) as well.

"We have some great strikers at the club. I look at Luis Suarez, Andy Carroll and Fabio Borini for tips. I watch them in training and they perform bits of class which you can only admire."
