Adam Lallana is happy he chose to stay with Southampton.
Despite speculation that Lallana was being watched by a host of Premier League suitors, he signed a new contract early this year that will keep him at St Mary's at least until the summer of 2015.
He revealed: "It was a very easy decision to make, and it seems to be the right one.
"There is a great atmosphere; the boss keeps us all grounded and there are no egos in this club. That's perhaps why we are doing so well.
"The way he wants us to play suits the players we have here.
"He is also not the type who goes around ranting and raving. He is calm, and the sort you can go up to and ask for a word, knowing he is not going to close the door in your face.
"He is completely opposite to that."
