Stoke City midfielder Charlie Adam insists they're capable of shocking Manchester United this weekend.

The Potters are in freefall.

"Man United will be going for the title, but we're at home and if we can get our ­confidence up for the game, who knows?" said a hopeful Adam.

"But it's going to be a tough match for us.

"We need to pick up points wherever. We need to start doing what we did at the start of the season.

"Getting after teams, enforcing our game upon them and ­hopefully we can starting getting some positive results."
