Adam Henley insists Blackburn good enough to stay up

Adam Henley hopes to play a role in keeping Blackburn Rovers in the Premier League.

Rovers face a daunting trip to league leaders Manchester City on Saturday.

Fullback Henley told the Lancashire Telegraph: “Everyone wrote us off at Old Trafford. Sometimes you like to be underdogs and if we go there with the right attitude we have every chance. As long as you go and put yourself about, you always have a chance.

“I don’t know if it would ever happen again (winning at Manchester City and Manchester United). But obviously it is something we want to achieve.

“All I can do is do what I am asked to do. I would love to play some more games but it is down to the manager at the end of the day.

If he feels I am capable of doing it then I am very happy to of course.”
