Despite Blackpool boss Ian Holloway refusing to sanction the transfer of Seasiders skipper Charlie Adam in the January transfer window to one of the top clubs, the Scotland international bears no ill feeling towards his manager. Quoted in the Blackpool Gazette, Adam said: "My relationship with the manager is crazy, mental.
"Everybody loves our manager because he says what he thinks. He's an honest manager and maybe sometimes he's too honest.
"But I have a fantastic relationship with him. The clubs who were interested in me were massive clubs. He felt it wasn't right at the time and I respect his decision.
"He thinks me being there until the end of the season will give the club a better chance of staying up, so that's the way it's going to be."
