Adam confident winning over Rangers boo-boys

Rangers midfielder Charlie Adam shrugged off the reaction of the boo-boys in their defeat to Hibs on Saturday.

The left midfielder pointed to the example of Alan Hutton, who won over the fans after some unconvincing performances in the early part of his Rangers career.

"You get that in football but the most important thing is I keep working hard and try and stay in the team," said Adam, who was a Gers hero last month with his effort against Stuttgart.

"Alan (Hutton) had a nasty leg break a couple of years ago and what he has achieved from then till now is remarkable. For me he is the top right-back in the country and has earned the right to play for Scotland. It's great that he's managed to do that. Everyone else looks up to him and his achievements."
