Stoke City midfielder Charlie Adam has called for a style change after starting in defeat to Manchester United.
Adam says Stoke needed to be more patient as their relegation fears increased with a 2-0 defeat at home to Manchester United.
"They have top players and that's what I was trying to say during the game. I think we rushed the game a little bit too much. We could have taken the sting out of the game a little bit.
"They are a good side. They have world class players. This is a sore one to take, but the season starts next week."
