AC Milan defender Francesco Acerbi is backing their bid for Manchester City striker Mario Balotelli.

Balotelli is a top January target for Milan president Silvio Berlusconi.

Acerbi declared: "Balotelli? He's a great player who could be of use for any team. If he comes to Milan I would be more than happy, in fact I'd go get him in England."
