Former Rotherham and Tranmere boss Ronnie Moore has declared his interest in becoming the new manager at Accrington. Stanley are looking for a new boss after John Coleman ended his 13-year association with the club on Tuesday when he took over at League One Rochdale.

Moore is currently working as a scout for Bury since his departure from the Millers last March.

"They are a progressive club who just missed out on the play-offs last year and they are chasing promotion again this season," Moore told Press Association Sport.

"I know League Two better than most people and my CV is on the way."
