Accrington Stanley have taken Wigan Athletic goalkeeper Lee Nicholls on-loan.

Nicholls has joined League Two outfit Accrington Stanley on loan until the end of the season.

The England Under-20 goalkeeper has previously spent time on loan at Hartlepool, Sheffield Wednesday and Shrewsbury.

He said: "It's what I need at this stage of my career - to be getting first-team experience in a competitive league."
